Russian attacks have claimed at least one life and injured 15 people in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk, according to Ukrainian authorities. The strikes occurred Thursday evening, adding to the civilian toll in a conflict that has seen escalating long-range attacks from both sides.

Vadym Filashkin, the governor of the Donetsk region, confirmed the casualties. "At least one person was killed, and there are 15 injured as a result of attacks this evening on the local community in Kramatorsk," he stated. Filashkin reported that Russian forces conducted eight separate attacks on Kramatorsk and the nearby village of Bilenke on Thursday evening. The attacks specifically targeted residential properties. In a separate incident in the southeastern Zaporizhzhia region, a Russian attack on a road injured two individuals. Ivan Fedorov, head of the regional military administration, reported that a 25-year-old woman and a five-year-old child were wounded when the strike hit near their vehicle. The attacks highlight the persistent danger faced by civilians in Ukraine.
