Actor Ryu Jun-yeol is set to portray his first dual role in the upcoming Netflix series 'The Behemoth.' The announcement came during a production presentation held at Hotel Naroo Seoul M-Gallery in Mapo, Seoul, on the 20th. Director Kim Hong-sun, along with lead actors Ryu Jun-yeol, Sol Kyung-gu, and Lee Kyu-hyung, were present to discuss the series.

In 'The Behemoth,' Ryu Jun-yeol will embody two distinct characters. One is Moon Jae, a novelist whose name, face, and entire life are usurped by an enigmatic entity known only as 'The Behemoth.' The other character is involved in recovering stolen money, creating a complex narrative web.

Ryu Jun-yeol shared his thoughts on the demanding nature of playing two roles for the first time in his career. He acknowledged the challenge of persuading the audience of the characters' distinct identities. "I worried about convincing the audience," he stated, highlighting his focus on altering his voice as a primary method to differentiate the characters.
