Sacombank Appoints Vice Chairman's Children to Leadership Roles

Sacombank has appointed the son and daughter of its Vice Chairman, Nguyen Duc Thuy, to significant roles within the bank. Nguyen Xuan Thai, born in 2003, will serve as an assistant to the board of directors, while his younger sister, Nguyen Ngoc My Anh, born in 2001, has been appointed as an assistant to the general director. Both appointments are effective from June 4, 2026.

Nguyen Duc Thuy, who also previously chaired LPBank, has seen his children take on these new responsibilities. Nguyen Xuan Thai has a background in economics and studied at the University of Massachusetts Boston. He has also been nominated for a board member position at LPBank Securities and currently holds a vice chairman role at Sacom Digital Asset Exchange (SCEX). Additionally, he is a board member at Phu Dong Sports Investment Joint Stock Company, the parent entity of the Ninh Binh football club competing in Vietnam's V-League 1.

Meanwhile, Nguyen Ngoc My Anh has been the General Director and legal representative of ThaiSpace since 2022. The article notes that these appointments are part of related party transactions within Sacombank.
