Saime to open office at Supreme Court for in-person services this week

Venezuela's Administrative Service for Identification, Migration, and Foreigners (Saime) is set to open a new office at the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) to provide in-person services this week. The announcement was made via social media, directing citizens to book appointments online through the official Saime website.

Services will be available from Tuesday, July 21, to Thursday, July 23, between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM. This initiative is being implemented under a presidential decree of national emergency, declared by acting president Delcy Rodriguez.

Saime had previously resumed in-person services nationwide on July 13, with the exception of some offices in Caracas, La Guaira, Aragua, and Lara. This pause was implemented in the context of earthquakes that occurred on June 24. The agency has also activated a technological protocol to allow users with passport appointments scheduled between June 25 and July 13, 2026, to reschedule their procedures exclusively through the web platform.
