Salah leads Egypt's World Cup squad, teen talent Abdel Karim earns call-up

Egypt's national football team coach Hossam Hassan has revealed the final squad for the upcoming World Cup, with Liverpool's Mohamed Salah set to lead the attack. The lineup features few surprises, apart from the inclusion of 18-year-old striker Hamza Abdel Karim, who is currently on loan at Barcelona Atletic.

Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush, a key scorer for his club this season, is expected to be another prominent figure in Egypt's offense. The team's World Cup journey begins on June 15 in Seattle against Belgium, as part of Group G, which also includes New Zealand and Iran. Before their tournament opener, Egypt will face Brazil in a friendly match on June 6 in Ohio.

The full squad includes goalkeepers Mohamed El-Shenawy, Mostafa Shobeir, El-Mahdi Soliman, and Mohamed Alaa. Defenders are Mohamed Abdelmonem, Mohamed Hany, Yasser Ibrahim, Hossam Abdelmaguid, Ahmed Fattouh, Tarek Alaa, Rami Rabia, and Hamdi Fathi.
