Samsunspor VP: 'We have no faith left in the TFF'

Samsunspor's leadership has voiced strong discontent with the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), signaling a deep-seated frustration with the officiating and governance of the sport in Turkey. Veysel Bilen, the club's Vice President, did not mince words, stating that their faith in the TFF has evaporated.

This outburst comes after a contentious Ziraat Turkish Cup quarter-final match where Samsunspor was defeated by Trabzonspor in a penalty shootout after a goalless draw. Bilen squarely blamed referee Atilla Karaoğlan for what he deemed a series of unfair decisions that tilted the game against Samsunspor. The club feels that justice was not served on the field.

This pattern of alleged bias fuels the club's belief that they are being unfairly targeted, leading to their complete disillusionment with the TFF's ability to ensure fair play.
