San Juan de Lurigancho: Car and mototaxi crash injures four, including two children

A traffic accident in the Caja de Agua sector of San Juan de Lurigancho, Peru, left four individuals injured, two of whom were children. The collision involved a car and a mototaxi at the busy intersection of Túpac Amaru and Próceres de la Independencia avenues.

Initial reports suggest the mototaxi driver may have disregarded a red light, leading to the impact with the private vehicle. The injured include the mototaxi driver, Jesús Noel Valencia, a passenger, Marilin Huisa, and two young girls, identified as the driver's daughters. They received immediate on-site medical attention before being transported to a local health center.

Firefighters and police responded to the scene. The mototaxi and car were taken to the police station for further investigation. Authorities are working to clarify the exact circumstances of the crash and assign responsibility.
