Sangji University offers admission information for 2027 early admissions at COEX fair

Sangji University is actively engaging with prospective students and their parents at the '2027 Academic Year Early Admission University Admissions Information Fair,' held at COEX in Seoul from June 23 to 25. The university aims to provide comprehensive information on its admission process, including student record evaluation methods and strategic application approaches for various admission tracks.

This year, Sangji University will admit 1,432 students, or 93% of its total enrollment, through early admissions. The breakdown includes 1,012 students via the student record-based merit track, 190 through the comprehensive student record evaluation track, and 230 via practical skills and achievement tracks. Notably, most departments, excluding Korean Medicine and Nursing, will not require a minimum college entrance exam score.

A key feature of the student record-based merit track is its unique grading system, which considers only the top two subject grades from each semester. This approach allows students with strong performance in specific subjects to leverage their strengths effectively. Additionally, the university offers a liberal arts program that allows students to explore various career paths before declaring a major, with 105 students to be selected for this track in the early admissions for 2027. Students in this program have the flexibility to change majors after enrollment.

Beyond admissions, Sangji University is highlighting its financial aid and supportive campus environment. New students will receive a 'Sangji Star Scholarship' of 1 million won for early acceptance and 500,000 won for supplementary admission. A regional talent scholarship of 1.5 million won is also available. The university provides a commuter bus service for students from the Seoul metropolitan area and offers dormitory facilities accommodating approximately 1,300 students, underscoring its commitment to a student-centered educational experience.

The university is also bolstering its career and employment support through various government-funded initiatives, including the University Job Plus Center program and customized employment services for current students. These efforts have contributed to a strong employment rate of 65.1% for graduates in 2024, ranking second among four-year universities in the Gangwon region. Sangji University also achieved a high freshman enrollment rate of 99.3% for the 2026 academic year, demonstrating its growing educational competitiveness.
