Santiago Giménez makes Porto debut in 2-1 win over Moreirense

Santiago Giménez began his Porto career from the bench, entering in the 75th minute of a hard-fought 2-1 comeback win over Moreirense. The Mexican forward, recently loaned from AC Milan, found chances but could not beat goalkeeper André Ferreira, who made two difficult saves.

Moreirense struck first in the 20th minute. Dinis Pinto met a cross from the left near the far post and finished first time, ending Porto’s six-match run without conceding in all competitions.

Players from both teams gathered as Froholdt received medical attention, while Liberato prayed in tears and was comforted by teammates and opponents.
