Diego Santilli, who joined the government from outside, has been appointed Chief of Staff by President Javier Milei, a move that surprised some given Santilli's prior affiliation with the Pro party. Santilli, however, states his full commitment to Milei's project, asserting, “I am part of the President’s project, I want him to be re-elected.”

Speaking from his office in the Casa Rosada, Santilli addressed his predecessor, Manuel Adorni, who is under investigation for illicit enrichment. Santilli adopted a careful, professional politician's tone, stating, “It is the President’s will and I respect it; I try not to get into that controversy.” He added that Adorni must provide explanations to the judiciary, emphasizing that it is up to the courts to determine guilt or innocence.
