Sanwo-Olu Celebrates Petralon Energy Boss Unuigbe at 50

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has celebrated the 50th birthday of Ahonsi Unuigbe, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Petralon Energy. Describing Unuigbe as a patriotic Nigerian and a visionary business leader, Sanwo-Olu highlighted his role in showcasing Nigeria's technical expertise and commercial discipline on the global stage.

Unuigbe, who also chairs the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), is recognized for his innovative spirit and firm belief in Nigeria's vast potential. Governor Sanwo-Olu noted Unuigbe's dedication in nurturing Petralon Energy from its inception in 2014 to its current respected position within the nation's upstream oil and gas sector. The governor commended Unuigbe's courage, optimism, and patience, possibly influenced by his background in investment banking.

He urged them to actively seek investment opportunities within the country, emphasizing that the current rebuilding phase, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is crucial for national development and for cultivating a new generation of business leaders.
