Saskatoon Exhibition Concludes After Eight Days of Success

The Saskatoon Exhibition, a highlight of the city's summer calendar, wrapped up Thursday night after eight days of festivities. Organizers hailed the event as a success, noting significant crowds and positive feedback on new additions designed to enhance the fairground experience.

During its run, the exhibition drew more than 150,000 visitors in its first five days alone. The longest weekend day saw particularly large crowds, with security facing challenges managing the parade route. To accommodate attendees, organizers introduced new amenities, including improved seating, increased shade, and more midway activities.

A large canopy was added as a new feature to offer a respite from the weather, which organizers confirmed will be a permanent addition.

While the event largely went off without a hitch, some weather-related issues impacted certain rides, particularly on Sunday. Despite these minor disruptions, overall sentiment was overwhelmingly positive. Jelinski reported that out of a thousand surveys completed, the feedback consistently highlighted the exhibition as "fun, accessible, and good for all families."
