Saudi Arabia's new one-year tourist visa does not include Tunisians

Saudi Arabia has launched a new one-year tourist e-Visa, designed to facilitate travel with multiple entries and stays of up to 90 days. While this initiative aims to simplify access to the Kingdom for international visitors, it does not extend to Tunisian nationals. Tunisia is notably absent from the official list of 66 countries whose citizens are eligible for this streamlined visa process. This means that, at present, Tunisians cannot benefit from this new, easier access to Saudi Arabia. The e-Visa system allows applicants to complete the process online without needing to visit a consulate. The visa is valid for one year from its issuance date and permits multiple entries, with each stay capped at three months. It is intended for tourism, leisure, attending events, visiting family, and performing Umrah, but not for work or study. Countries like France, Italy, Spain, Germany, the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, China, and Japan are included in the eligible list. In Africa, only Mauritius, Seychelles, and South Africa are currently on the list. Therefore, for Tunisians, the situation regarding travel to Saudi Arabia remains unchanged by this specific e-Visa announcement.
