Tunisian economic control teams in Sousse, in coordination with security services, seized a significant quantity of bottled water from a wholesaler accused of hoarding. The operation targeted practices of withholding goods and speculation, a persistent issue in the distribution of essential items.

Riadh Guesmi, the Regional Director of Commerce in Sousse, reported that 23,600 liters of mineral water were confiscated from a wholesaler operating in Sousse-Ville and Hammam Sousse. The wholesaler had intentionally concealed these quantities, preventing them from reaching the market and consumers.
