Saudi Arabia Starts Issuing Umrah Visas for New Season

Saudi Arabia has officially commenced the issuance of Umrah visas for the new Islamic year 1448 AH, marking the beginning of the pilgrimage season.

Pilgrims are permitted to enter the Kingdom starting Sunday, Dhul Hijjah 14, which corresponds to May 31, 2026. Upon arrival, they can secure Umrah permits through the dedicated Nusuk application, as outlined in the Umrah season calendar released by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

The ministry has established specific timelines for the Umrah season, with the final day for issuing Umrah visas set for 1st Shawwal, 1448 (March 9, 2027). Pilgrims must enter the Kingdom no later than 15th Shawwal 1448 (March 23, 2027), and the final departure date for all Umrah pilgrims is scheduled for Shawwal 30, 1448 (April 7, 2027).

Umrah service providers and overseas agents have been urged by the ministry to strictly adhere to the approved schedule and all regulations. This compliance is essential to guarantee the delivery of high-quality services to pilgrims throughout their spiritual journey.
