Saudi Leadership Offers Condolences to Japan over Kumamoto Earthquake Victims

Saudi Arabia's leadership has extended condolences to Japan in the wake of a devastating earthquake that struck Kumamoto Prefecture in southwestern Japan. Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud sent a cable of sympathy to Japan’s Emperor Naruhito.

In his message, King Salman conveyed his deep sorrow over the tragedy. He extended his most sincere condolences to Emperor Naruhito, the families of those who lost their lives, and the people of Japan. The Saudi monarch also expressed wishes for the safe return of individuals who went missing during the disaster and for the swift recovery of those who sustained injuries.

Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud also conveyed similar sentiments of condolence to Emperor Naruhito. The messages from the Saudi leadership underscore a gesture of solidarity and sympathy towards Japan during its time of crisis.
