Yemen's Houthi rebels asserted on Sunday that they targeted an oil facility in Jazan, located on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast, with a drone. The group's military spokesperson, Yahya Saree, stated the strike was precise and a response to Saudi drone incursions into northwest Yemen.

This claim follows Saudi Arabia's Energy Ministry announcement that civil response teams had controlled a fire at the Jazan refinery earlier that day. The ministry did not specify the cause of the blaze but confirmed no injuries. The facility had previously been targeted by the Houthis in July.
