Scheduled power outages in Bishkek and Kyrgyzstan regions on August 19

Residents in Bishkek and several regions of Kyrgyzstan should prepare for temporary power outages on August 19, 2026. The disruptions are scheduled by the local electricity network enterprises to facilitate planned maintenance and repair work.

In Bishkek, several districts will experience intermittent power supply throughout the day. For instance, parts of Suvanberdiev and Belorusskaya streets are scheduled for outages from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Other areas, including sections of Alma-Atinskaya, Salieva, and Saratovskaya streets, will be affected from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM. The Orto-Sаy village will have power interruptions from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, while extensive works are planned across numerous streets and residential areas like 'Archa Beshik' and 'Murаs-Ordo' from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Further outages are planned in the Chuy Oblast. The Jayylsky district's power utility will conduct maintenance in the city of Kara-Balta, affecting several streets from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Villages like Kara-Tyube and Stepnoye will also see disruptions. The Keminsky district will experience outages in the city of Kemin and surrounding villages, with timings varying between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Similarly, Kant, Novopokrovka, and other settlements in the Kant and Moscow districts will face temporary power cuts.

Other affected areas include the Panfilovsky district, with planned outages in villages like Telman and Kum-Aryk, and the Sokuluksky district, where several residential areas and streets in Novopavlovka will be without power. The schedule indicates that most maintenance work will conclude by late afternoon or early evening.
