School Director Competition: Applications Open for Next Stage

Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Education has initiated the application process for the next phase of its competitive selection for reserve candidates aspiring to leadership roles in educational institutions. This program aims to build a pool of qualified individuals for future principal and director positions in schools and kindergartens across the country.

The application window is open from August 8 to October 31, 2026. During this period, interested candidates are required to submit their electronic applications and supporting documents through the automated information system known as 'Mugalim.' Following the submission and review of applications, the ministry will proceed with the next stages of the selection process.

From November 16 to November 27, organization and conduct of qualification testing.

The schedule outlines that qualification testing will take place from November 16 to November 27. Subsequently, the final competition rounds are slated for December 7 to December 11. An expert commission will review the submitted documents within 10 working days, with results communicated to candidates via their personal online accounts.

This initiative follows a previous testing phase conducted in July, where 77.8 percent of participants successfully passed. The ministry emphasizes the importance of this structured approach to ensure a robust and transparent selection process for educational leaders, thereby strengthening the management capacity of the country's educational organizations.
