Scientific dialogue on nomadic civilizations to be held in Issyk-Kul region

The Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan will host an international scientific conference on September 3, coinciding with the VI World Nomad Games. This event is designed to bring together the global scientific community to delve into the multifaceted aspects of nomadic civilizations, encompassing their historical heritage, philosophy, culture, traditions, and contemporary development.

Organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation, the forum is envisioned as a vital international platform. It will facilitate open academic discourse, the sharing of cutting-edge research, and the strengthening of collaborative ties between research institutions across various nations.

The scientific program associated with the World Nomad Games seeks to advance nomadology as a modern, interdisciplinary field. It aims to bolster international scientific cooperation and establish a global research hub dedicated to the study of nomadic civilizations. The conference is scheduled to take place at the Kurmanjan Datka Center of Nomadic Civilization in the village of Ornok.

Participants will include leading scholars, researchers, experts, and representatives from international organizations and academic institutions from around 30 countries. Notable participating nations include Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, China, Turkey, and the United States. Discussions will cover current research trends, historical and cultural legacies, philosophical underpinnings, and traditional values of nomadic societies, alongside modern approaches to nomadology and interdisciplinary studies.

A key focus will be on expanding international scientific cooperation through joint research projects, academic exchanges, and the establishment of new connections between researchers and research centers worldwide.
