She was supported by Beth Mooney, who finished on 54 not out, as the pair put on a record 118-run partnership for the second wicket.

The Rockets comfortably chased down the target of 122 with 18 balls to spare. This victory places them four points ahead of second-placed Southern Brave, setting up a potentially decisive final group match between the two teams.

It was the England captain's first 50 in this year's tournament and her 11th in The Hundred overall.

Earlier, MI London struggled to post a competitive total after being restricted to 121-5. Spinner Samantha Bates was the pick of the bowlers, taking 3-13. She dismissed Hayley Matthews early and then took two wickets in two balls to leave MI London in a precarious position at 49-4. Despite a late recovery led by Kira Chathli and Chinelle Henry, who both scored 27, MI London's total proved insufficient.
