SDP Women Hail INEC's Recognition of Adebayo as Presidential Candidate

Ambassador Hajiya Sa’adatu Abdullahi, the National Speaker of the Women Parliament of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), has welcomed the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC) publication of Prince Adewole Adebayo's name as the party's presidential candidate. The National Speaker of the Women Parliament of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Ambassador Hajiya Sa’adatu Abdullahi, has welcomed the publication of Prince Adewole Adebayo’s name by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as the party’s presidential candidate, describing it as a boost to the SDP’s preparations for the presidential election.

In a statement released in Abuja, Abdullahi emphasized that this recognition marks a crucial milestone for the party. She stated it reflects the commitment of the SDP's National Working Committee (NWC) to strengthening internal democracy. The official publication of the party's presidential ticket, featuring Prince Adewole Adebayo and his running mate, Dr. Usman Mohammed Bugaje, signals the SDP's readiness to offer Nigerians leadership centered on good governance, social justice, economic prosperity, and the rule of law.

The SDP expressed confidence in Adebayo's qualifications, citing his competence, character, and vision as essential for addressing Nigeria's challenges.
