Seaplane crashes, catches fire north of Seattle; all 11 on board survive

A Kenmore Air seaplane carrying 11 people crashed and caught fire in the Puget Sound area north of Seattle on Thursday evening, but miraculously, all aboard survived the harrowing incident.

The aircraft was en route when it experienced an "accident" around 5:15 p.m. local time in Shallow Bay, near Sucia Island. Video footage captured by an onlooker showed the plane flying unusually low before it crashed into the water and erupted in flames.

Authorities confirmed that all ten passengers and the pilot were rescued from the water. The San Juan County Sheriff's Office reported that multiple patients sustained injuries, including head injuries, broken bones, and lacerations. One individual was in critical condition, but no fatalities were reported.
