Search Intensifies for Missing University Student Hamza Duras

Authorities and volunteers are intensifying their search for Hamza Duras, a student at Istanbul Yeditepe University, who disappeared five days ago. Duras boarded a bus in Safranbolu on May 31, intending to travel to Istanbul, but never reached the city. His family lost contact with him on June 3 and has been unable to reach his phone since June 9, prompting them to file a missing person report.

The search operation, which began on Friday, June 19, is concentrated in the Kent Ormanı Çamtarla area, the last known vicinity where Duras was seen. The operation involves approximately 65 personnel, including gendarmerie, AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Authority), police, non-governmental organizations, and volunteers, utilizing 23 vehicles.

Despite the significant resources deployed and the ongoing efforts over the past five days, there have been no confirmed sightings or clues regarding Duras's whereabouts. The search continues with the hope of locating the missing student.
