Sebastián Rulli won't sue over AI video depicting him with Cazzu

Mexican actor Sebastián Rulli has decided against pursuing legal action against the creator of an artificial intelligence-generated video that romantically pairs him with rapper Cazzu.

Despite his image and name being registered with the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property, Rulli expressed surprise upon learning of the viral video earlier this week. The AI-generated footage depicted him and Cazzu in romantic scenes on a beach and in a restaurant.

It was the creativity of someone who knows how to use AI, and honestly, it's incredible that something doesn't exist yet to prevent that. But, as long as it doesn't harm anyone or promote things unrelated to what one thinks, I'm not going to initiate any lawsuit or legal action.

He recently promoted the final weeks of the telenovela "Mi rival," where his character is involved in a complex romantic entanglement with a mother and daughter.
