Secret Deal Reached Between Florencia Peña and Nico Occhiato Over Luzu TV Exit

Florencia Peña and Nico Occhiato have reportedly finalized a secret agreement to resolve Peña's contentious departure from the streaming channel Luzu TV. The resolution comes over a month after Peña's controversial remarks about Jorge Messi's health on Luzu TV sparked a scandal.

Prior to the conflict, Peña commanded a lucrative contract estimated between eight and nine million pesos monthly. This included not only her base salary but also two "Publicidad No Tradicional" (PNT) slots, allowing her to bring in her own brand advertisements and keep the revenue. Her total monthly earnings significantly exceeded her base pay.

The situation escalated on June 18 following Peña's premature announcement of Messi's father's death. Reports suggest Occhiato then engaged in a "very unfortunate" conversation, allegedly pressuring Peña to announce her departure, which led to her lawyer, Fernando Burlando, intervening.

Burlando initially advised Peña to pursue a lawsuit potentially worth 750 million pesos. However, Peña opted for an amicable resolution, instructing Burlando to settle the matter peacefully. This led to her directly negotiating the terms of her exit with Occhiato.

Mediator Marley played a crucial role in facilitating the agreement. A phone call initiated by Marley between Occhiato and Peña reportedly paved the way for their face-to-face meeting. Peña and Marley's program was one of Luzu TV's most-watched shows, attracting significant advertising revenue. While some brands reportedly withdrew, major advertisers remained, ensuring the program's financial stability.
