Security operation detailed for Indio Solari's wake in Avellaneda

Authorities in Avellaneda, Buenos Aires province, have detailed a comprehensive security operation for the public vigil of iconic Argentine rock musician Carlos 'Indio' Solari, scheduled for Sunday at Parque Dominico.

The security plan includes personnel from the Buenos Aires Provincial Police, specialized units, traffic agents, and medical stations. Entry to the Polideportivo ‘José María Gatica’ will be managed through a designated corridor, with queuing organized along Avenida Bartolomé Mitre. Several health posts will be stationed at key intersections to provide assistance.

The minister reiterated the family's desire for the public to bid farewell to Solari, emphasizing that the event should be conducted with respect and serve as a peaceful tribute. Music, reminiscent of Solari's performances, will be part of the ceremony.

The Parque Dominico was chosen for its ample space, described as approximately 680 by 300 meters, offering comfort and security. Its location on Avenida Mitre, a wide thoroughfare with multiple lanes and boulevards, facilitates access and crowd management.
