Şehir Hatları to switch to winter schedule, with night services continuing

Şehir Hatları, Istanbul’s municipal ferry operator, will move to its winter schedule on Monday, Sept. 7. The timetable will remain in effect until June 27, 2027.

The operator, which serves 32 routes and carries about 40 million passengers a year, plans to run an average of 826 services each day during the winter period.

Night ferries will continue. The Bostancı-Adalar Ring route will operate at night every day. Services on the Kadıköy-Karaköy-Beşiktaş route will continue on the nights linking Friday to Saturday and Saturday to Sunday.

Bosphorus tours will also remain part of the winter program. Both the long and short tours will run once a day, giving passengers the chance to see Istanbul from Şehir Hatları ferries.

Sea taxis will continue to serve Istanbul residents 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Passengers can find the winter timetable through Şehir Hatları’s piers, website, mobile application, social media accounts and the Alo 153 Solution Center.
