Seismology Institute registers three earthquakes in Kyrgyzstan

Kyrgyzstan experienced seismic activity with three earthquakes registered on Sunday, according to the Seismology Institute of the National Academy of Sciences. The first tremor occurred at 9:33 AM, measuring approximately 3 on the Richter scale. Its epicenter was located near the border between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, about 7 kilometers northwest of Kochubaev village and 13 kilometers northwest of Aravan village.

A second, stronger earthquake was recorded at 6:33 PM, with a magnitude of approximately 3.5. This quake's epicenter was within Kyrgyzstan, 6 kilometers southwest of Jar-Bashy village. Tremors were felt at 2.5 magnitude in Chak, Kulchu, and Shibee villages.

The third seismic event took place at 9:42 PM, registering a magnitude of 3. Its epicenter was also within Kyrgyzstan, 3 kilometers southwest of Nura village. The tremors in Nura and Erkechtam villages were estimated at 3 magnitude.

Additionally, the Seismology Institute reported an earthquake on August 8 at 10:23 AM with a magnitude of 2.5. This quake's epicenter was 4 kilometers southwest of Novopavlovka village, but its tremors were not felt.
