Seoul E-Land Draws with Paju, Extends Unbeaten Run but Falls Further Behind Leaders

Seoul E-Land FC failed to secure a victory at home against Paju Citizen FC, drawing 1-1 in a match that saw their unbeaten streak extend to six games.

The draw, which occurred on August 23 at the Mokdong Stadium, leaves Seoul E-Land in second place in the K League 2 standings with 12 wins, 5 draws, and 5 losses, accumulating 41 points. However, the gap between them and league leaders Suwon Samsung has widened to three points.

Paju Citizen FC took an early lead in the second half with a goal from Lee Jae-ho just 28 seconds after the restart. Seoul E-Land managed to equalize in the 13th minute of the second half through Park Jae-yong. Despite introducing substitutes like Kim Hyun, Lee Ju-hyuk, and Gabriel to push for a winning goal, Seoul E-Land was thwarted by Paju's goalkeeper Ryu Won-woo, who made a remarkable 14 saves from 15 shots on target, effectively preserving his team's draw.

In other matches, Jeonnam Dragons secured a 1-0 victory against Hwaseong FC, ending a two-game losing streak. Meanwhile, Chungnam Asan FC defeated Yongin FC 2-1 at home, and Cheongju FC drew 1-1 with Gyeongnam FC.
