SEP: How to download the 2025-2026 school year report card; here's the step-by-step guide

Parents in Mexico will soon be able to access their children's academic progress for the 2025-2026 school year, with report cards becoming available for download on July 14. This coincides with the final day of classes before the summer break.

The Secretaría de Educación Pública (SEP) has detailed the procedure for obtaining these crucial documents. Students' report cards, which summarize performance across three evaluation periods, can be accessed digitally via the Sistema de Información y Gestión Educativa (SIGED) portal. This online platform is available 24/7, offering a convenient way for parents and guardians to check their child's grades.

To download the report card, parents and legal guardians must log into the SIGED portal and navigate to the "Consulta del alumnado" section. They will need the student's Unique Population Registry Code (CURP) to search for and retrieve the document in PDF format, which can then be printed. For students in Mexico City, an additional local platform managed by the Autoridad Educativa Federal de la Ciudad de México (AEFCM) is also available for consultation.

The SEP emphasizes that official report cards must include the student's full name, CURP, grade, and school details. Security features such as a QR code, a digital SEP seal, and an electronic signature will ensure the validity and authenticity of the documents. The first delivery of evaluation results for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year is scheduled for the last week of November.
