September 2026 Public-Sector Payment Schedule Sets Salary and Pension Deposit Dates

Peru’s September 2026 payment calendar sets out when public-sector employees and pensioners will receive their deposits through the Banco de la Nación. The schedule groups workers by their government institution and gives employees advance notice of when salaries and pensions will become available.

Salary payments will be made over four dates: Thursday, Sept. 17; Friday, Sept. 18; Monday, Sept. 21; and Tuesday, Sept. 22. The first date covers a broad group, including education and universities, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, transport and communications, defense, the judiciary, the Public Prosecutor’s Office, economy and finance, justice, regional government executing units, the comptroller, Congress, agriculture and irrigation, and energy and mines.

Payments on Sept. 18 will cover the interior, development and social inclusion, housing, construction and sanitation, the Ombudsman’s Office, and foreign relations. The Sept. 21 group includes health, women and vulnerable populations, culture, environmental agencies, labor and employment promotion, and the National Registry of Identification and Civil Status.

The final salary date, Sept. 22, covers production, foreign trade and tourism, the National Office of Electoral Processes, the Military Police Court, the National Board of Justice, the National Jury of Elections and the Constitutional Court.

Pensioners covered by Decree Law 20530 follow a separate calendar. Their payments begin Friday, Sept. 11, and continue through Wednesday, Sept. 16, depending on the institution responsible for each beneficiary. The calendar applies to monthly salary payments and social obligations handled by executing units of national and regional government entities.
