September audiobooks bring a powerful new release and an entertaining series opener

Helsingin Sanomat subscribers can listen in September to a new Tommi Kinnunen novel about a long love story, as well as a light-hearted series opener centered on a kind hairdresser.

Kinnunen’s story follows Johannes Löytövaara, a well-liked photographer and father of four. He has built a life with his wife, Kaarina, in the village of Selkonen, where he runs a photography studio under the watchful eye of his mother, Lahja.

Johannes is living with memory loss and remains connected to life only in fragments. He decides to tell his entire story again to the person who once mattered most and whom he lost.
