Serbian National Arrested in Montenegro for Allegedly Starting Bakery Fire

Authorities in Nikšić, Montenegro, have arrested a 44-year-old Serbian national on suspicion of intentionally starting a fire in a local bakery. The suspect, identified as N.L. from Čačak, Serbia, was apprehended following an investigation into the incident.

The fire reportedly broke out around 5 p.m. on the day of the incident, prompting the owner of the establishment to alert the Nikšić Security Department. Police officers, accompanied by forensic experts, immediately secured the scene and conducted a thorough investigation. They gathered statements from several individuals present at the time.

Based on the evidence collected and witness accounts, the police identified N.L. as the prime suspect. He was brought to the police station, and upon the order of the state prosecutor, was taken into custody on charges of causing general endangerment. The suspect is expected to be transferred to the competent state prosecutor's office for further proceedings.
