Serifis bids farewell to Panathinaikos: 'I leave full and satisfied'

Christos Serifis has officially departed from Panathinaikos AKTOR after a three-and-a-half-year period with the Greek basketball club. The club announced the end of their collaboration with the Greek coach, who held roles as both head coach and assistant to Ergin Ataman.

All things always have an end, and what one should take care of for oneself first is to finish full and satisfied. I feel both of these to a very great extent leaving Panathinaikos after 3.5 years that I was on the bench of this great team, either as head coach or as assistant coach to coach Ergin Ataman.

Serifis stated that he leaves the club feeling fulfilled and satisfied with his experiences and accomplishments. He expressed gratitude towards club owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos for the trust placed in him during a significant period for the team, which saw its transition to its current high level.

I want to thank Mr. Dimitris Giannakopoulos for the trust he showed in me during a special period for the team, during which its transition to the level it truly belongs was achieved.

Serifis reflected on the many beautiful and difficult moments they experienced together, emphasizing that titles, team successes, and its progression to the top are what ultimately remain. He wished the club continued success and good luck to coach Obradovic and his staff.
