The incident, which occurred early on April 24th, has created a large void near the riverbank and poses a risk of further erosion, potentially affecting an additional 20-30 meters of land. The affected area is already showing signs of instability, placing the entire riverfront in a high-risk zone. Initial assessments indicate damages exceeding 3 billion VND, impacting local businesses including a shop and an aquaculture feed agency. Emergency services, including specialized units, police, and militia, have been deployed to the scene. Residents are being assisted in relocating their property, and the dangerous zone has been cordoned off with warning signs to prevent passage.
