Service chiefs call on President Mirza Fakhrul

The chiefs of Bangladesh's Army, Navy, and Air Force met with President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at Bangabhaban for a courtesy call. General Waker-Uz-Zaman, Admiral Khondkar Misbah ul Azim, and Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan congratulated the president on his assumption of office and conveyed their best wishes.

During the meeting, the service chiefs provided the president with updates on the various activities undertaken by their respective branches. They also sought his guidance and cooperation in their duties, acknowledging his role as the supreme commander of the armed forces.

President Mirza Fakhrul expressed his satisfaction with the ongoing activities of the Armed Forces. He affirmed that the current government is committed to modernizing the forces and developing them into a "modern and four-dimensional force." The president pledged his full support and cooperation throughout his tenure to enhance the professional capabilities of the personnel and the overall development of the armed forces.
