Seven Jamaicans Awarded Fully Funded UK Master's Scholarships

Seven talented Jamaicans have earned prestigious, fully funded scholarships to pursue master's degrees in the United Kingdom. These scholarships, covering the 2026 academic year, will enable them to study at some of the UK's most renowned universities.

The successful cohort comprises three Chevening Scholars and four Commonwealth Scholars. Their academic pursuits span a wide array of critical disciplines, including finance, technology law, entrepreneurship, construction economics, global health, community development, and innovation and technology management. This diversity reflects the broad spectrum of talent and ambition within Jamaica.

Representing six different parishes across the island, these scholars demonstrate a commitment to advancing their knowledge and skills. Their selection highlights the strong academic potential within Jamaica and the UK's continued investment in fostering international educational ties. Upon completion of their studies, these scholars are expected to contribute significantly to various sectors in Jamaica.
