Seven Killed in Drone Strike on Russian Logistics Center

A drone attack on a logistics center in Russia's Tambov region killed at least seven people and injured 24 others, according to regional Governor Evgeny Pervyshov. The strike occurred at a Wildberries logistics hub in the city of Kotovsk.

Seven night shift workers were killed when enemy UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) attacked a Wildberries logistics center. According to preliminary information, 24 people were injured in the attack in the city of Kotovsk.

Ukraine has intensified its drone attacks on Russian territory, framing them as retaliation for Russia's sustained aerial assaults on Ukrainian cities and infrastructure over the past four years. Wildberries confirmed that its logistics complexes in Kotovsk and Moscow's Elektrostal were targeted.

Firefighters controlled the blaze at the Tambov facility, while operations continued in Elektrostal. Meanwhile, Moscow's air defense systems were active throughout the night. The city's mayor, Sergei Sobyanin, reported that over 370 drones were launched towards the Moscow region, with 64 being destroyed before reaching the capital.

The fire at the facility in the Tambov Region has been contained, while firefighters are still carrying out operations in Elektrostal.

These escalating aerial exchanges come as diplomatic efforts to end the conflict, led by the United States, have reportedly stalled in recent months, with Washington shifting its focus to other geopolitical concerns.
