Seven Puppies and Their Mother Rescued from Underneath an Earth Embankment; Emotional Firefighter Intervention

A heartwarming rescue operation unfolded in Constanța, Romania, where firefighters successfully saved eight dogs from a precarious situation. Seven puppies and their mother were trapped beneath a pile of earth after construction work caused an embankment to collapse.

The alarm was raised when local residents heard the distressed cries of the puppies coming from under the collapsed soil. They immediately halted their work and contacted the emergency services via the 112 hotline. Firefighters from the Port Detachment responded swiftly to the scene.

Today, thanks to their vigilance and the prompt intervention of the rescuers, eight lives were saved. Sometimes, the most beautiful missions are those where we save the voiceless.

With patience and care, the rescue team worked to locate and safely extract the trapped animals. All eight dogs were brought out from under the earth embankment unharmed. The ISU "Dobrogea" of Constanța expressed gratitude to the citizens whose civic spirit led to the rescue, emphasizing that their vigilance and the firefighters' quick intervention saved eight lives.
