Seven Transjakarta Routes to Operate Until 6 PM WIB on August 17

Transjakarta is adjusting its services to accommodate Indonesia's 81st Independence Day celebrations on August 17th. Seven key bus routes will operate on a modified schedule, concluding services at 6:00 PM WIB instead of their usual 10:00 PM WIB.

The affected routes include 1B (Stasiun Palmerah–Transport Hub Dukuh Atas), 1H (Tanah Abang–Stasiun Gondangdia), 1P (Senen–Blok M), 1R (Senen–Tanah Abang), 4C (JIEP–Bundaran Senayan), 6A (Ragunan–Balai Kota via Kuningan), and 6B (Ragunan–Balai Kota via Semanggi). Passengers planning to travel on Independence Day are urged to stay informed about these service changes and adjust their travel plans.

Ayu Wardhani, Head of Public Relations and CSR at Transjakarta, emphasized the importance of planning ahead. "We urge customers to plan their journeys well and always update information before departing," she stated. The company aims to ensure that the public can still access public transportation for activities and to enjoy the independence day festivities safely and comfortably.

To support passengers during this period, Transjakarta will have staff stationed at various service points to provide assistance. This measure underscores the company's commitment to facilitating public movement while acknowledging the special occasion and potential disruptions.
