Sevilla and Venezia agree on Akor Adams transfer for 16.8 million euros plus add-ons

Sevilla and Venezia have reached an agreement for the transfer of Nigerian striker Akor Adams to the Italian Serie A club. The deal is reportedly worth a fixed 16.8 million euros, with an additional variable component ranging from 4 to 7 million euros.

Akor Adams, 26, has already agreed to personal terms with Venezia, signing a contract that will keep him at the club until June 2030. While the transfer is considered a done deal by sources close to the negotiations, official confirmation is still pending.

Sevilla has facilitated the transfer, as Adams had limited training sessions with coach Luis García Plaza since the start of preseason, indicating his status as a transferable player. Adams joined Sevilla in January 2025 from French club Montpellier for 5 million euros. He played only four LaLiga matches without scoring in his first half-season due to injuries but emerged as a key player last season, scoring ten goals and providing four assists.
