Pop superstar Shakira revealed her strong desire to collaborate with Nigerian singer Burna Boy on the official song for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, titled 'Dai Dai.' Shakira expressed being "obsessed" with the idea of featuring Burna Boy, aiming for a powerful male vocal to harmonize with her own.

During an appearance on the Capital Evening Show with Jimmy Hill, Shakira explained her admiration for Burna Boy's energy and vocal style, believing he was the perfect fit for the track. "I have always loved Burna. I was obsessed with getting him on the track, so I called him," she stated, adding that she couldn't imagine anyone else contributing to the song.
