Sharqia Governorate Awaits 2026 Preparatory Exam Results Amidst Grading Process

Students and parents in Egypt's Sharqia Governorate are eagerly awaiting the results of the preparatory certificate exams for the 2026 academic year. The results are among the most searched for on the internet as correction and grading work continues in educational control centers.

Educational sources indicate that the correction process is still underway, with strict instructions for meticulous review and accurate grading. The completion of these tasks is anticipated in the coming days, after which the results will be officially approved by Governor Hazem Al-Ashmouni.

This year, a total of 147,714 students, including 146,127 in the general preparatory certificate and 1,505 in the vocational preparatory certificate, participated in the exams. The figures also encompass students from specialized schools for the deaf, hard of hearing, and blind.

The Directorate of Education in Sharqia has implemented all necessary measures to secure the control centers and provide facilities for examiners. Emphasis has been placed on accuracy in correction and grading to ensure the integrity of the results. Students and parents will be able to check their results via a dedicated link on the governorate's educational website once they are officially announced.
