She had more money than she could count as a teenager, yet the dream home she bought six years ago is still unfinished

Kylie Jenner has owned her “dream home” for six years, but she still has not moved in. The 29-year-old entrepreneur showed the ongoing construction at her Calabasas mansion in a six-minute video posted to her YouTube channel, which has 12.1 million subscribers.

Jenner bought the property from Miley Cyrus for $15 million in 2020. “I’m going to my construction site. I’ve been building a house for six years. I bought the property in 2020,” she told viewers. She said she had initially decided not to share the project, but changed her mind because the house was already being discussed widely online.

She described the property as her “beautiful Italian dream home” and said she had hired celebrity landscape designer Jim Hyatt, known for his work at San Ysidro Ranch. The entrance features olive trees and lavender surrounded by recycled paving stones. The video also showed unfinished parts of the house, including a laundry room and a marble shower with a built-in bench.

Jenner said she visited the site after finishing a daily meeting at around 3 p.m. to obtain approvals. The article also referred to a report saying she bought $500,000 worth of olive trees to surround the property. In the video, she said her sister Kendall Jenner had been building at one of her homes and had to remove all the small olive trees.
