Shock in Milan: 22-Year-Old Stabs Man 20 Times; Graphic Video Surfaces

Shockwaves are rippling through Italy following a brutal knife attack outside a Milan bar, where a 55-year-old man was stabbed multiple times. The victim, Gerardo P., was having breakfast with his father when the assailant allegedly attacked him from behind.

According to Italian authorities, a 22-year-old man from Gabon, identified as Lamin Saidi, is accused of wielding a 21-centimeter knife and inflicting approximately 20 stab wounds to the victim's head, neck, chest, and abdomen. The assault was captured on security cameras, and the graphic video has circulated widely online.

Saidi was arrested shortly after the incident and is currently held at San Vittore prison. He faces charges of attempted homicide with aggravating circumstances. Prosecutors are treating the attack as premeditated, with no clear motive identified. Investigators believe the suspect intentionally targeted a random victim, noting he wore a balaclava to conceal his identity.

The victim was rushed to Niguarda Hospital, where he underwent several surgeries. While his chest and abdominal wounds were serious, doctors reported they were not deep. He remains in the intensive care unit, with his condition steadily improving and no permanent complications expected.

During his arrest, the suspect allegedly told officers, "I enjoyed it. When I get out, I'll do it again." These statements are part of the evidence being examined by the judiciary.
