Shots Fired at Goa Casino Director; He Escapes Unhurt

Goa Police have initiated a manhunt following a brazen shooting incident targeting Shrinivas Nayak, the Managing Director of the prominent Casino Pride Group. Two unidentified assailants reportedly fired three shots at Nayak on Friday evening as he was leaving the Majestic Pride Hotel and Casino. Fortunately, Nayak escaped the attack unharmed, with all shots missing their intended target.

The incident occurred while Nayak was accompanied by his bodyguard, who returned fire in the direction of the assailants. The duo were not harmed during the exchange. Preliminary information suggests the assailants fled the scene by crossing the busy NH 66 Highway. Nayak, a well-known figure among casino operators in the state, manages multiple offshore and hotel casinos in Goa.
