Singapore Garden Festival returns for 10th edition with a 'roller coaster', mirror maze and floral competitions

Gardens by the Bay is set to host the 10th edition of the Singapore Garden Festival (SGF) from July 4 to 12. This year's event, themed "Carnival of Blooms," promises a vibrant display of floral artistry and engaging installations for visitors.

The festival will feature the "Show Gardens: All-Stars Edition" competition, where eight returning "Best of Show" winners, including local and international designers, will vie for the prestigious Pinnacle Award. These competing gardens at The Meadow will showcase striking plants and innovative design concepts.

Adding to the attractions are several unique installations. Visitors can marvel at the eight-meter-high "Floral Roller Coaster," a themed structure adorned with tropical plants. Another highlight is the "Floral Mirror Maze," featuring eight distinct floral chandeliers and mirrored walls. For an immersive experience, the "Known by Flowers Light Installation" by Chinese landscape designer Hu Shiyang integrates large-scale floral blooms with dynamic lighting and technology. The "Floral Vortex" offers arches of orchids set against lush greenery, providing a picturesque setting.

Beyond these main attractions, SGF 2026 includes various themed gardens and landscapes. A marketplace will also be available, offering gardening tools, collectibles, and other items. Tickets for the festival start at S$12 for adults and can be purchased on-site or online.
