Singapore PM to respond on ministers’ status as world’s highest paid

Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and Minister-in-charge of the Public Service Chan Chun Sing will give the government’s response tomorrow to recommendations on reviewing the salaries of political officeholders.

Members of Parliament will debate the issue on Sept. 10, according to the parliamentary agenda issued on Sept. 7. The recommendations came from a committee appointed to examine political officeholders’ pay.
