Singer Haqiem Rusli Delays Personal Microphone Purchase Due to Frugality, Calls it Career Investment

Malaysian singer Haqiem Rusli revealed that his cautious approach to spending and his dedication to saving money were the primary reasons he only recently decided to invest in his own personal microphone. This purchase, his first since beginning his artistic career, is considered a major investment.

Haqiem admitted to being someone who thinks carefully before making substantial purchases, which led him to postpone acquiring his own microphone despite many industry peers already owning theirs. He noted that artists like Hael Husaini, Ernie Zakri, and Khai Bahar had acquired theirs much earlier.

While declining to disclose the exact price, the 28-year-old singer confirmed the microphone's cost falls within the five-figure range. He sees it not just as an expensive item but as a crucial investment for his singing career. His wife, Anis Sofia, played a key role in his decision, consistently encouraging him not to be overly hesitant about investing in tools that could elevate his professional performance.

Haqiem shared that his wife convinced him that investing in something that enhances his career quality is worthwhile. He acknowledged his own tendency to save excessively and overthink purchases. Ultimately, her reassurance that the investment would provide satisfaction and improve his vocal quality led to his decision.
